I just bought a 2006 Audi A4 3.2 Quattro with 48k miles on it. The car is in excellent condition. I haven't picked it up yet because the place I bought it from is still preparing it.

I'm new to owning nice cars (especially Audi) and everyone told me that if I take good care of it I won't have any problems.

I would like some advice on some of the things I should be doing to keep my A4 well maintained (filters, oil changes, tires etc..). Also, what things can I do myself to save money?

 

Do not believe the hype. I have owned two and I am ready to sell the second one and never buy another Audi product as long as I live. Consider yourself entering into the MAINTENANCE NIGHTMARE zone.

$10,000.00 later of my own money and a new motor (while still under warranty) and all the in between things............ I say to people if you do not have maintenance money set aside do not buy an Audi.

I seem to hear otherwise. It might be a bit more maintenance but itll last long.

i believe its a car like every other, it will treat you good IF you treat it good. i heard all different rumors as well but guess what ive owned maaaany cars, all with a lot of rumors.
