I just bought a 1996 2.8 A4. Hopefully, I can get into doing some work on it on my own. I just had the 90k maintenance done and need to do some more suspension work in the front - I plan on replacing most of it with Meyle parts (possibly a kit). While I'm at it, does anyone have other suspension suggestions?

Also, I need to replace the front brakes. It sounds like Mintex pads are the way to go. Are there any aftermarket rotors that will be a significant upgrade over the stock ones?

Finally, any mods I can make that would replace soon-to-be-failing stock parts? Thanks in advance for any advice.

RE: New Audi Owner with Questions
Hey nice car man, i have never heard of the suspension brand your talking about, if you do struts and springs id go with H&R or a brand like that there are a bunch of good ones out there just search the forums and you should find what ya want..... unfortionatly there really arnt that many performance parts for your car but you could put a better exhaust on it or something...... As far as brakes mintex is good and for rotors you can buy ones from brembro or bare (sp) cross drilled and slotted are better than stock in most situations..... but most of all just have fun with your car
