New to Forum with 2 trouble codes need help with!
Hello,
I have a 2006 A4 3.2L Quattro with 2 codes that I scanned this evening. The first code is a P2294 Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 CTRL CIRC. Can anyone tell me where this is located under the hood and offer any advice on how to fix?
2nd code is P0135 O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1. Can anyone also assist with where do I locate this sensor and advice on how to fix?
The local Audi Dealership wants 1600 US to fix. Says its HPFP and sensor.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Fitzau

First, Wilkommen to the forums!
Not sure about your fuel pressure issue. sounds like the stealership wants to replace the fuel pump. you can do this yourself if you are mechanically inclined.
B1S1 O2 sensor is the pre-cat sensor on the passenger side of the car. it is a real PITA to get to, but replacement is simply a matter of wrenching the old one out and disconnecting it. then wrenching the new one in and plugging it in. again, definitely DIYable.
The cost quoted by the stealership is definitely feasible for what needs to be done. most of that cost is probably going to be labor, not to say that the parts are cheap either. if you can't DIY, check for an independent shop in your area. make sure they know their way around an Audi
finally, not much traffic here in the new member welcome section. you will get more views and will be more likely to get responses in the appropriate A4 section of the forums
good luck
