I've been an Audi fan for year. Test drove so many of them, but never coughed up the money until a very well cared for 95 S6 came along.
I love sedans with standard transmissions.
So far, no issues.
It needs new tires, in case anyone has a suggested summer tire. (Seeing as I'm in Wisconsin the car came with a set of extra rims and Blizzaks!)

I've been a die-hard Mopar muscle guy for many years (currently with 2, 1970 Challenger R/T's), will this relationship with Audi cause me to sell the old iron and buy and R8?

Welcome. if you do end up selling one of those Challenger's I'd take one of your hands if I had money, I love Mopar.

as for good tires I'm not sure but I've heard good things about BFgoodrich G-Force KDW, and then there are a bunch of other options out there, (tirerack could probably easily help you there)

I also love the old 5-cyl, and really want to get my hands on one someday (though Ideally a 85' quattro) but similar engines. I'm glad your're liking it so far, and you made the right choice with the tranny.
