Isn't it true that the 225 hp did not come in front wheel drive (and still does not). I am totally shopping for a TT so this is really a rhetorical question.

So if your car is stock, and there are two exhaust out the back, it is the 225. And if it is the 225, I am pretty sure it only came in AWD. But if it is a 2000, I don't think they made the 225 that year (and if they did I can never find one.) The TT guys could help you solve this problem. But I am going to go with your car is not really a Quattro.

As a side note, wasn't there some weird recall on the 2000's for aerodynamic problems causing flipping at 120+mph. Yet another reason I am holding out until I can afford an 02.

And as an odd question not necessarily to you, have ya ever been to Hollister California?
When the brand (of sweatshirt you are wearing in the pic) came out I was so excited that there was an undiscovered to me beach town in Cali, and one day I was driving through middle of nowhere of central valley California and came across Hollister. What a town! There is nothing there. Why not make a Merced T-shirts? Oh I know, because people could actually look on a map and realize that Merced sucks.

alright i have a perfect way for you to find out if it's quattro or not. And seriously do it.

Dump it at 3,500rpm. if you get a massive burnout, its fwd. if it pulls into a perfect launch, you got quattro. =] problem solved, all while having fun!!

No, because 4WD and AWD are two totally different things

ah head ache.. lol
okay so i like the burn out idea.. hehe
and a recall on my car ? i wouldnt doubt it.. flipping at 120 mph..thats probably bad, concidering we have had it to about 110 i think, or hell maybe 120. I'll have to check in to it.
And i totally think it is FWD due to the VIN.....and Who replaces a glove box? i mean really.
oh well its about that time to go wash my car -again. *I hate rain. *I hate water spots. And *i hate the way the TT doors are formed because the water drys weird on them, and makes it look worse then it did before i washed it.. ha. maybe ill post some sparkling shinney clean picts this time. (and include some of the rear... lol )

Oh and about the hollister thing ya i have heard that before, one of my best friends is from Cali and said the same thing.. but oh well i like the style and the way Hollister clothes fit, so id probably still wear them if they were named after like.... oh i dunoo.... Dover, Ohio haha. And besides name one clothing brand that makes cute'r skirts?? ..??
