Hey.. Im newbie..This will be my first Audi, Im planning on buying an A4 or S4 im just having trouble deciding which one..just wondering everyones opinions on eaither car, or if anyone has any kind of preference. I would really appriciate the help..thanxs

if you have the budget get a B5 s4 but if you dont get a B5 A4 01 edition you wont be upset with that... I have a 01 a4 and honestly it is the best car i have ever owned... if you treat the car with respect and give it regular maintence then it will be good to you...

 

Do you want a slow car yet reliable orrrr....... do you want a fast car that might break down more often and be more expensive to fix? Personally I'd go for a B5 S4 because of the performance side. Not to scare you but S4's are driven hard and the turbos often go out at ~70k miles. That's a $4-5k dollar repair.

 

Its kind of a hard decision... I really want an S4 though even though i know like you guys have said that it will or may have its problems...
would you say its the turbo all together or is the S4 model that is the problem?... my friend has a 00' GTI Turbo/New suspension..tons of new mods..but now hes experiencing some serious problems with it and cannot find anyone who knows what is...it sucks..
