New guy here
New to these forums as of today. I've been an Audi (and VW) technician for about 10 months now after working on Fords for 21 years. The Ford dealer closed and I got a call from a service advisor at the Audi/VW dealership that they were looking for a tech. I had worked with this advisor at the Ford dealer for a few years ago. Got hired on the spot, and after an adjustment period have found I love my job. Great place to work, and never thought I'd say it but I actually enjoy working on Audi's. Doing the Ford's was more like just a job. Best part is, instead of a 13 mile drive in morning and evening rush hour traffic on the interstate, the Audi dealer just happens to be about 3/4 mile from my house.
Decided I would join in on this forum and perhaps be able to answer some questions AND have some questions answered, hopefully learn something as well. As I said, only been at it for 10 months and have learned a lot in that time, still a lot to learn yet.
I don't actually own an Audi and probably never will (die hard Mopar guy BTW), and that is no reflection on Audi's at all. I really like the cars, just not my style of car to own if you get what I'm trying to say.

I get you. a 71 'Cuda has it's place in my dream garage and I'm currently really thinking about getting a Ram2500 as my next vehicle because hopefully I'll have a little boat to tow behind it. But this is all after I graduate college in a few years.
