Default New here!

Hey everyone, my name is Mirza and I'm proud to say that I'm a owner of a 1996 Audi A4 2.8 V6. I just picked this car up today for a daily driver and I'm liking it so far.

The only problems it has are; The C.V boot on the left side tends to make a "clunk" like noise when the wheel is turned all the way to the left. Talked to the owner and he said a nut/bolt is "dry" (prob hasn't had any proper lubrication to that particular area). I will probably take a look at it later on today and lubricate that bolt to see if that fixes that temporary problem. If this does not fix the problem, is there anything else that I can do before I go to replace the C.V boot?

Problem two is that the exhaust has a rattle too it (when revving around the 4-6K mark). I'm not sure if there is a bad hanger or if there is something inside the exhaust itself. Once again, I'll have this looked at..

Other than that, the car holds up to it being 16-17 years old. Exterior wise it does have a couple of dings and scratches, but I suppose that's not very surprising to a car of this age. Interior wise, seats are somewhat cracked, but luckily there are no rips or tears present. Car is very clean nonetheless.

My plans are to buy some lowering springs, drop the car 2" all around, and get some new rims in the near future.

Now for some pictures : )

Cheers! - Mirza
