Hello all from San Francisco!

I am originally from Spain (Barcelona) where I haven't had a car in a while but several motorbikes. Barcelona is said to have 300 000 motorbikes!

Anyway, I am in the market for a (used) Audi, and I zoomed in 2 models:
- A 2006 A3 2.0 Sedan that seems to have some electrical problems, 100k miles but some work to do (timing belts etc.)
- A 2003 A4 Cabriolet with 90k miles that also needs the 90k service done.

The stupid question - which one would you recommend? I know I know it's a stupid question for which the only answer is "it depends what you want" but I'm thinking this question is worth a shot to get some perspective that I may have missed.

I know next to nothing in cars and repairs, so at the slightest problem it will have to go to a garage, any particular place you guys recommend in the San Francisco/Bay Area? Does it have to be an official Audi dealer?

Anyways, maybe next time I come here I'll be the proud owner of an Audi...?
