Hello all, I have just joined the forum. I have recently purchased a 2003 Audi A4 Cabriolet. It has the 1.8 Turbo and an automatic trans. This vehicle was parked over a year because the drivers door glass would not roll up (it is electric). I was told by the owner that everything else is in good working order so I guess we will see. The car has 140000 miles and still looks pretty good. It has interior issues due to the window being down for a year.
I intend to first get the window up then remove and clean the fuel tank. Once these task are completed then I will move on to getting the engine running and checking out all other systems.
If everything is as it should be I plan to make some suspension mods, exhaust mods and rechip the ECU. This is my first experience with an Audi and I need many small parts. I'm sure I will be on this forum with many questions in the near future so let me thank all of you in advance for your help and patience.
