Default New member, New Audi owner!!!

Hi all,

I am a new member to the site from the UK. I bought an A4 last week, very pleased with it. Its a 1998 SE version, the only thing is a yellow warning light has come on for the brake lights, I've checked them all (all working) and I dont know how to erase the warning. Does this have to go to the garage??

Never been in a forum, but I thought I would ask other Audi owners if they have had the same thing.

Thanks!!

Still getting used to all the jargon!!!

Bye

Hi rsw, welcome to the forum. Can you describe the light in more detail?

Hello, its on the LCD screen. In the manual its coming up as a yellow warning light (Check break lights) It seems to have gone off now, I also visited the audi dealer who said it may be to do with a wiring connection to the break pads, therefore I could need new break pads.

I am gonna have it checked out, I will let you know!!

Thanks

Bye for now
