Looking to purchase an A6 3.0t (C6 chassis, particularly the 07-11 face lifts) in the next year or two. Been driving and hotroding my single cab Tacoma for the past 8 years but sadly have come to the realization that I am going to need a family vehicle.

With that said what all should I be looking for when purchasing this particular model (I'm an ex MB tech so I know my way around German cars)? What should I be looking to spend? How much of a unicorn is a C6 3.0t with a manual tranny? What are the common issues?

With that said I will be using the search function to its fullest potential but if I could get some links to the general nuances of owning an A6 Avant would be greatly appreciated.
