Default New and needing some help..

Name is Sam I'm from Missouri and I'm working on a family members Audi.
Hey I joined the site to see if I could get a few questions answered and so far this forum site has seamed to be the best one!

My question is about a clutch and flywheel for a 98 Audi A4 FWD.

The clutch pressure plate shattered and now I need to replace the whole setup. A factory dual mass flywheel is looking to be around $600 then $450 for a clutch kit.
I have found conversion kits but I was wondering what are the pros and cons to them?

This is a BONE stock car and will not be driven hard anytime soon.
So would this be a better choice for me then? Stock OEM
Also if someone could point me in the right direction for a outer CV joint that would be great.

Thanks,
Sam

First, Willkommen to the forums!

next, and more importantly, there isn't much traffic here in the New Member Welcome section and this is most definitely not the place to have questions answered in a timely fashion. I suggest you check the b5 a4 section. your questions have been asked and answered several times there. if you still can't get your answers to your satisfaction, that would be the place to ask. you also happen to be in luck because we definitely have some of the best clutch/flywheel folks around (seriously).

good luck
