Default New Owner!

Hey all, I am a excited new Audi owner! I've always loved German cars, and was about to buy a BMW 335i when a buddy of mine came to me with a crazy offer.

He owned an immaculate 2002 A4 1.8T Quattro that he was kind of tired of driving (how, I dont know...) I had a 94 Jeep that I had modified, probably worth around 6k or so. He wanted to trade me straight up! So we did, and now I own the Audi!

I'll have to post pics of it later this evening. I am stoked, and looking forward to driving this amazing car, and throwing some money into it!

I was very lucky! My father is from Hong Kong, and my mother was born in Louisiana, so I am a Cajun Asian. :P As for the car, its pretty quick already but I definitely want to add a chip/intake. It has some 19's that are very nice (not sure what kind, I'll have to find out.) Its pretty much open for me to mod. Id love to add a slick looking kit to the body, but... I am a noob at this. I originally bought my jeep so I could learn more about cars. Thats why I am here though, so I can learn more!

I know nothing Very little. The kits I was looking at were very small modifications from the current model that is on the car. Ill take pics tonight and post them. Maybe then I can get a better idea of what I want to do. However I do like the classy look, so maybe a kit isnt the way to go. Perhaps some smaller mods are better (grill, lights for example)

Alright well start learning your car by getting the self repair book and this site..
http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...ch_center.html
Make sure you read 101,102,103 and you will know turbo(good reads)!

Awesome cant wait for the pics bro..yeah you should learn quickly to think about what you wanna do to your car instead of rushing too..yeah you could go grilless and get a very huge front mount intercooler! lol just messin but would be bad *** lol

But whatever you do to your car im sure will be one of a kind and fitting you
Good luck with that

Oh and for lights check out halos..they are awesome looking IMO

Hey welcome to the forums. If you want to tune your car here are some sites to go to for some info. www.goapr.com www.achtuning.com www.awe-tuning.com www.giacusa.com. They sell turbo kits and chips. Good luck finding something.

As promised here are some photos of the Audi. As a side note, these were taking with my Blackjack phone, so the quality may not be superb.

Other than needing a bath this car is immaculate. Its in perfect condition on the inside and out. Has about 85k miles on it currently.

Ah I guess a little more info on me would be good:

I live in SLC, UT and I love it here. Tons of stuff to do outdoors. I love mountain biking, and 4wheeling (jeeps, quads, dirtbikes, etc.) We have some of the best places for it. Check out the Jeep Safari in Moab, UT, or the dunes if you are into quads.

I am a CS major, and as such I work as a Business systems analyst, designing software. That being said I am also a nerd, so I also play tons of games. MMO's (wow), xbox/ps3, ds/psp etc... you name it, ive probably played it. I blame my parents for buying me that Nintendo in the 80's....
