Hey guys,

These forums have already proven to be an invabluable tool in getting this car road-ready (got it from a friend who didn't know what maintenance was).

I have a 1996 A4 2.8, 5 speed MT, grey leather interior.

coming from a '97 Subaru Impreza, I feel refreshingly refined.

Aside from the fact that the passenger side heated front seat doesn't seem to work (not sure what to do there...) the car is running much better (After an EGR valve and O2 sensors and a bunch of filters). I notice that if I'm running the A/C sometimes my voltometer will read 12.5-13 (should that stay at 14 or is that okay?)

Once all the little things are out of the way, I want to add some mods; what do you guys recommend for inexpensive and useful modifications?

 

GoAPR.com is a good website for performance products but its not cheap. You bought the wrong car if you want cheaap mods. These things will break your wallet but I love them anyway.

 

Wellllll.... cheap is a figure of speech in this case... or a representation of all that is not more money than a new car.

well with a 2.8 your kinda limited on "cheap" performance mods.

of course you can do all of the same cosmetics
