Default Newbie to the AUDI world

Hey what's up everyone. Just bought a new (to me) AUDI and have finally returned to the land of ze Germans. I used to have a '98 M3 a few years back but couldn't afford the insurance payments so I had to sell it. Then I got a TSX and now I finally decided to get back to the Germans. So I finally bought a '99.5 A4 1.8TQ. The car is bone stock with no mods whatsoever. I'm on other German Car forums but this AUDI forum will be good since I plan to have my A4 until it no longer moves.

Cab509: Thanks for the welcome. Now that's a good plan. If my car dies then I might turn it into a track-attack machine as well. But I'll have to see my money situation though...right now I'm a pretty much broke college student. LOL

Acollicot: Thanks for the welcome man. I spent a good hour or two reading that last night. Very informative.

As for the mods. Well I would like to get basic performance mods like chip, intake and exhaust. For cosmetics I'd like to get the RS4 front and S4 rear bumper and S4 grill. Some nice side skirts. New suspension and 17inch rims. HID lights.

All that will cost money I don't have, LOL. So it will be a few years before I can do anything. But I think the first thing I will do is get some HIDs because that's the cheapest mod I can think of. You guys have any suggestions?

Easiest and least expensive is from www.vvme.com - about $72 including shipping. Be aware that shipping times have varied widely from them, from a few days to three weeks. The other downside is that their customer service is poor. However, most people who have bought from them are happy with the product and they look/function very nicely.
