Default Newbie/car battery fail?

Hey everyone.. I'm new here, (from NY).. I have an Audi Quattro A4 and I have recently had a problem with it. The car I have I use while I am at work, it was given to me for my business travels so I don't use my personal car. After driving it for a while I love it so much more than my own!! So I am basically on here to gain more knowledge of the car that i'M driving.

I have a question for you guys.. i'm probably not posting this on the right forum but since I'm a newbie I didn't think anyone would mind.. about a month ago I was parked at a friend's house and going home car would not start, had it jumped and that was it.. now about a month later every morning for hte past three days it's had to been jumped. Myboss since he pays for the cars expenses refuses to believe that it is the battery. The car has no problems starting during the day bc im constantly in and out.. its when it sits out all night in the cold that we have a problem in the a.m. So just so that I'm not going crazy could it possibly be another problem with the car? I'm prob gonna go to an auto zone today on my break and get the battery tested just to rule that out. tHANKS everyone!

What year is the car? I have a 2002 A6 and the battery had a bad cell last fall and the battery needed to be replaced.

To my understanding about every 5-7 years the battery will need to be replaced.

Hope this helps! Good luck and welcome to the forums!

Defiantly sounds like the battery to me, tell your boss to stop being a tight *** and buy a new one.
