Default Newbie, FINALLY!!!

I've been saying i'm going to own an Audi for a couple of years now and while the exact model and year has varied over the years the intent did not!

While i've owned several VW in the past these cars seem a little more solid albiet not as reliable as my lexus.

So after being ALL over the map I finally took my first bite into the Audi world a 04 1.8t 6spd USP Quattro. It's a high miler (150k) and rebuilt title but got it for dirt cheap and it is really clean.

Taking care of the minor cosmetic problems (glove box, arm rest, lower fog light cover) and wait until any major $$ on the performance/handling. Although right now as it sits it's a pretty fun little ride. Looking forward to seeing where this relationship will take me!

I'm from the Portland OR area but my corporate HQ is on the Island, Islandia actually. I've spent many a day AND night out there. There are some beautiful places on the island, once you fine them.....

Yeah the meeting timing couldnt have been more better, in between the hammers!

Default RE: Audi Newbie

Great! I've also been looking forward to buying an Audi, but haven't been able to get my hands on one yet.

I'm also new to this forum, and I'm looking forward to the new Audi A3 sedan, expected to be released within a year or so.
