Default Noob here, BMW driver

Hey, I'm kinda walking into the lion's den here because I drive a 1998 BMW 328is. But I just joined up here to keep up on the Audi scene, as its very similar to the BMW scene. My dad used to own a 1986 5000s back in the day and I loved the car to death. He sold it in 1998 and bought a Grand Cherokee, we bought a 2005 Grand Cherokee in 2005 and thats been that. But for three years I liked the Jeeps, but both he and I wanted to go back to a German car. This June I bought a 1998 BMW 328is 5 speed 4 days before my high school graduation. I paid $9300 CASH (if felt like a baller that day [sm=smiley16.gif]). In the 2 and a half months since then , I've spent over $2200 in mods. The main ones are listed in my sig. But since I work at a BMW dealership as a detailer, I naturally bought an E36. In my search, I couldn't decide between a B5 A4 (S4 would've had high insurance rates like an M3)and an E36. I have always loved modded B5's as they are just so subtle and classy. I live and breathe BMW, but modded Audis are always good to see because it means the driver has some taste and doesnt want to drive rice.

Whats up man, Im a fan of BMW's as well. Came so close to buying an 04 M3 and 07 335i within the past few months. Glad to see you on the forums. I own a 97 Audi A4 and even for a car thats 10 years old the pearl white paint and the leather interior I have still blows away most of the newer cars made nowadays. I agree with you in terms of Audi's class. Look forward to seeing you again in the future
