In a stunning display of self torture the Marquis de Sade would probably have winced at, I ended up flying to Santa Monica from Austin to purchase a 2004 A4 3.0 Cabriolet. I then drove it 1431 miles in 22 hours (had to take a two hour nap) back home.

I really wanted this car.

I've been an Audi fan since I had an A4 as a rental car for a couple of months while my Jetta TDI was being repaired at the shop (a medium-size accident). Once I saw the Cabriolet, the knees went weak and I knew I had to have one...and this particular one was being sold for a great price. I only have the pics from the Audi USA website that I saw when I looked for the car, but I think they're pretty good as is. After I get back from a business trip, I plan on some more pics. And I look forward to being a member of the forums.

Hello Audict. I can relate to your story. I live in NYC, but found a S4 in Pasadena Ca....my sister lives there and she was going to check it out for me. I was planning on making the cross country drive. The gods or chance thought otherwise and it sold before I could look at it. Anyway, you got a really nice car!
