Hello, I am from Utah. I have been looking at a 1999 A4 (b5 I believe). It has an aftermarket exhaust and has a chip, though I'm not sure if anything else has been done. It has about 160,000 miles on it. What concerns should I have at this time?

there really isn't enough information in your post, nor is there enough space allotted for mine, to be able to answer your question.

be sure to spend some time in the A4 section. read the stickies as they cover just about everything you should be concerned with pre-purchase. be sure the list is going to be long and distinguished. probably the best thing you can do for yourself is to get a pre-purchase inspection done by an Audi SPECIALIST (not some random mechanic). even if you have to pay for it, it is surely money well spent.

Thank you. I know of an Audi specialist here in town I will see how much an inspection costs. And will definitely spend some time looking through the A4 section.
