Hi all hope some one can advise me i have just brought a A6 2.5 tdi v6 diesel and have an awful smell that comes out through the air vents when the cooling is on at first startup i have purchased a cabbin filter but can not work out where the item goes can anyone help with this problem i would be greatfull

 

Cant help you much on the A6, as I have an A4 (mines located under the black plastic right up by the windshield on the passengers side). It may be the same for the A6.

But, I bet if you do a search, or ask in the A6 forum, you will get someone to help you.
