Problem Child Audi A-6 2003 Quattro
Hello, I am new to your forum. I have a 2003 A6 Quattro 3.0, OMG every 4 years we have problems. Currently, the check engine light keeps coming on. I take it to Audi and they make it disappear but it always returns with no solution from Audi. Second, this is the first time that it failed emissions because it threw a code of the 02- Oxgen sensor. I was in the process of getting this fixed when a few days ago the car didn't want to start. So I called AAA, they said that it could be the fuel pump.. hmm what do they know, they are not Audi. So today, I have a friend that is a mechanic come by and look at the car. And now I have two new codes PO117 & POO30, can someone please tell me what does this mean. The car only has 115,000 miles on it to be 15 years old this month. As far as other behaviors that I have noticed. The car is burning ALOT !!!!! of gas.. meaning that $20.00 probably will give me 20 miles. Should I take it to Audi? Every time I schedule a appointment with Audi the bill always has a few zero's to it $4000-5000 dollars. I found this site trying to look up what the PO117 code meant. Thanks
