I have an 02 subaru wrx. I found a 2000 s4 locally that I really like. The only problem is that the s4 has 135,000 miles on it. It has a new timing belt and was recently tuned and checked by the local audi dealer. Overall the car is a 9/10. Perfect condition etc... I can get the s4 for about 13k and i can sell my wrx for about 15 or 16k. What should i expect cost wise if i buy this s4? Will i have major issues soon? How long until the car becomes unreliable? Any info would be great.

Do you know if the turbos have been replaced yet? If not, then that is just a great opportunity to upgrade.

Hey welcome to the forums. Yeah I would be worried about the condition of the turbos. If they go plan on replacing them both for ~$5000.

 

135K is alot of miles I would think long and hard about it first...........

 

yeha that is a lot of miles.. and for a few $k more u can get one w/ less miles.
