Hey guys I am a new member here. I do not own an AUDI, never have... hell, I do not know a person that drives one. I know what your thinking... "who the heck is this guy" well I am in the market for a "new" car. I have been driving volvos for 6 years now, and love them. I own a 1998 Volvo S70 N/A. I am looking at buying a 1999 S70 T-5. I have always wanted one. But I people tell me about S4's. I like them a lot. So I am asking you guys to sell me on an AUDI before I go and stay in the VOLVO family. Thanks guys! Welcome to the forum. Have you driven an S4 yet? Being as this is an Audi forum we are going to be pretty biased. Can't say many of us know much about Volvo's. Go for the S4, it's much better looking.

 

I've driven both the 99 T-5 and an 00 S4. In my opinion the S4 is a better car. To me it felt more stable at speed. After rolling my previous car... I didn't want to take any chances... Audi was my choice.

 

How is the resale value of S4s? I am looking to keep my volvo forever and maybe when I get this new job in the next year, to maybe buy an S4 also... but how is the resale? Could you guys post some pictures of your S4 so I can see if they are better looking??!?!

resale no but pictures yes, take a trip to the garage sales rooms that will give you on the prices, prices vary too much for people to answer that question it also depends on how long you intend to keep it "if you get it" that is

 

Resale for those is approx 6 dollars in all cases. Plus or minus a dollar or two.

 

the new member section doesnt have much traffic. buy the s4 because it looks better. is more comfterable, handles better, o and did i mention it looks better.

doesnt seem like a hard choice to me





oooh yea and when you tell someone you have an audi s4, the reaction is WOW COOL!
when you tell them you have a volvo its ooooh ok[:'(]
