new to being an Audi owner and new to this forum, thanks in advance for your input

I recently purchased a 2010 A6, and I have been trying to transfer my Sirius account from my previous car to my A6 but I have not been able to so far. I am friends with the former owner of the car, and I know that when he originally purchased the A6 that it came with a 3 month trial for Sirius, The option for Sirius is even shown on both the owners manual as well as on the original window sticker. All that said, currently there is not an option for sirius on my MMI, so I can't access channel 0. I am also aware that my module may be able to provide me with a esn/radio ID that could possibly solve this problem, but it looks like the module in the the trunk compartment is pretty secured and I may have to use some tools to access it, which I am hesitant with the car being so new to me. I am hoping that this is an easy fix, I feel like it should be, but I'm not really sure. I appreciate any and all advice that any of your can provide for me. Thank you
