Hey guys, my name is Nick. I'm 22 and I currently drive an EVO8. I love the car, but looking to let it go due to high insurance payments that are hard to keep up. So therefore my next car I have in mind would be an Audi A6. Currently in the market looking for the 2008 A6. Any1 have any tips on what I should look out for or any certain things I should have checked out before purchasing the car? And what are the price ranges for the 08 so that I dont get scammed. a lot of information can be found in the sub-sections of the forums. the biggest thing to look for is good maintenance records and/or an owner that seems to be enthusiastic about keeping up with taking care of the mechanicals. Used car prices really depend on the area you are in, what kind of demand there is in the market and a host of other variables (private party sale vs. dealer for instance). For an '08, I would suspect online car shopping tools (kbb, cars.com, etc) will be able to give you a decent ball park for price.
