Can anyone tell me the type of tire pressure monitoring system that is on the 2007 A6 - direct or indirect?After getting a new tire yesterdayI got a"Tire Pressure Monitoring System"malfunction signal. Obviously the sensor is not working on the new tire but the tire dealer says it just needs air and resetting, but he did that and it came back on when I was driving home. The nearest Audi dealer is 200 miles away so I'd like to get this taken care of here. If I can glean some info on the type of sensor that is on the tire maybe I can direct the tire guy on how to fix it. I called the Audi dealer and of course he just says to bring it in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
