Tire pressure monitoring, a big deal?
I just realized the car I leased does not have the tire pressure monitoring system. Is this a big deal? Other than that its fully loaded. I kind of wanted this because now its one thing I have to remember to do.. I dunno, maybe its no biggy, I'm only sorry I forgot to ask. I haven't taken delivery of the car yet but I have signed everything.. I guess I'm out of luck. Does anyone really find it a major feature?
i have an A4 fully loaded and i dont have the tire pressure option
its not a big thing, im sure u survived wit out it before and u can live you life with out it rite now
its helpful but u dont really need it

I think that it is a great option.
In order to use run-flat tires you must have a monitoring sys. Run flat tires are a great safety feature. Almost never have to change a tire roadside.
That being said, I did not get the TPMS on my 06 S4. I can change a tire and I have never had a flat. I carry a fixaflat in the trunk anyway.
In order to save cash I didn't get the TPMS or: Rear parktronic, rear side airbags, power sunshades, birch trim, wood steering wheel, heated rear seats, or a ski sack. This lowered the cost of the vehicle by over $2,600. This way the Audi just feels more practical to me and less like a frivalous purchase, but it's still an awesome car. If I really wanted to waste the money, I could afford a 911 Carrera 4S, but how do you justify that? Get what you need. They make most of their money on the options.
Check the tire pressure frequently and you'll be fine.

I don't think the TPMS tells you the actual pressure. Just if it falls below a certain threshhold (like a slow leak). I have one in my Acura, and it is only good for alerting you to a flat tire.
