TT - High milers / Convertibles???

TT - High milers / Convertibles???
hello all,
just joined up to this website and would appreciate some information regarding the above.
having owned A2 Storm, A2 TDI 90 Sport (retuned to 120), A2 TDI Sport 75, and and A3 DSG i now thinking about moving over to a TT.
Mostly looking at coupes but have seen a nice convertible as well.
What the score of the these high milers TT's, (80, 90, 100k miles) as long as they have had FSH are they still good to go for? The ones i have seen have had the cambelt and water pump changed around the 70k miles mark.
As for the convertibles.....i know usually that these do less MPG, can any give me real driving figures for this? are there any known troubles with the roof?
Whats the insurances costs like?
