Hi, new member here. I just pick up my pre owned 2012 TT RS this morning. I have been a BMW guy for years and have had about all the good BMW's. Currently have X5 diesel, 328ix wagon, E36 M3 track car, Spec E30, E46 Waagon and a 2011 1M that I picked up in Germany last summer.

I wanted to try something different, so I got an Audi.

I looked at used RS4's and S cars and yesterday my dealership called and said a TT RS with 2,000 miles was getting traded (his wife couldn't drive it so he traded for S4 Cab).

I'm a real track rat so this should be fun. I've had 1M and M3's on several tracks including my home track at VIR. On the 9th of Oct. I plan to take TT to open track day (along with may Spec E30) to see how it does.

For 10 mths before picking up my 1M I also had a Boss 302 that I tracked several times and I drove my buddies E92 M3 a lot on track too, so I should have fun comparing.

Anyway, it's nice to be on another forum other then BMW.

Let me know what I should be aware of on TT RS; I bought it without much research. Had to move fast.
