Default Urgent Help! New Audi Owner

[:[] I am a new A4 year 1995 automatic owner. I could see an oil leak near the radiator and I thought it to be the Power Steering leak. Later after driving the car only for 3 miles and came back home with more thorough inspection, I could see it was the ATF leak. According to me, it has dropped about 1 litre of ATF fluid and I have noticed that It is taking more time to change gear. I have only driven the car 3 miles. So when you first begin to accerelerate, it feels that the tranmission delays a bit at first, but does get better as you drive it. I think the oil circulates then. Does anyone know what I need to do? How much oil does the gearbox take? Any way of checking the oil level when topping up. Please let me know asap. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Car was driving absolutely fine before the leak.

Well have you fixed the leak yet? that should be your priority. You can't just top off the transmission fluid. There is a whole process you have to do involving the correct transmission temperature and special tools to get the oil in there.
