Default Window Wiper Issue ahhhhhhh

Hi Guys

I have an audi a3 tdi made in 1999 but have a problem with the window screen wiper... even when on full power they seem slow.. do you think this would be the motor or the blade being blunt?

any help would be great

thank you

Karl

ps I also have the timer on full blast

Willkommen to the forums!

for a '99, I would suspect that the motor is getting worn. They aren't too terribly difficult to change but it can be a bit tricky trying to get the arms on and off without breaking the windscreen and keeping the arms in the proper position. I've seen some pretty good DIYs around and as I said the job is pretty straightforward if you are reasonably mechanically inclined.

good luck
