Hello all! Names Nate, and i currently drive a '02 Trans Am WS6, but as of late i have ben thinking of ditching it in favor of a B5 S4.

I have yet to test drive one, and im sure that will be a deciding factor, but id like to get some of your input as well. I have however driven a '04 A4 1.8T, and LOVED the fit and finish of the car... it felt so well built. To all who own one (B5 S4), what are your likes and dislikes about the car? How do they respond to mods? Relability/longevity isssues?

Currently the TA is putting 364 RWHP and 377 RWTQ with just an intake, LT headers and a catback. What typically does it take to get to this point with the S4?

Im really glad that your leaning towards a b5 s4. persoanlly i love b5 s4's. Total sleepers, very little beeded to get really nice numbers! not to mention massive torque.

to me the b5 models (a4's s4's) are a timeless piece of art and engineering. wild and untamed yet simple. youll love it!

I have a close friend that drives a 01 ws6, and hes got the usuall trans am attitude.. "oh dude ill own that" "trans am owns all dudee".. i hate this attitude.

i just laugh in his face every time. the only thing he has is ramair.

 

oh trust me, i am a very modest TA owner.... its slow and i know it! i think ill move this to the S section, not gettin to much traffic here.
