If you don't have a turbo timer, try to wait about 30sec for your turbo to cool down.

Be sure to get good synthetic oil like Redline or Royal Purple. They break down slower than cheaper brands.
Also change your oil regularly at shorter intervals than what the manual says. Especially if you are running on cheap gas, which I hope you don't.
Your engine has close to 100K miles. Check the valve cover gasket. If that's leaking, your engine will run rich. Not very good for the oil or spark plugs.
