hi there im pretty new to these forums so im not sure if this has been discussed before .
I am currently making some slight engine mods to my a3 1.8t and have come to the turbo.
Before going for the live remap i was considering going for the ko3s turbo upgrade but have been told my car already has the ko3s turbo
The exact model for my car is
A3 1.8t sport
manufacture date june 2001
Engine code aum
Could someone please advise as i am now scratching my head as to weather i have a ko3 or ko3s turbo .
Either way i will be getting a ko3s or recoditioning my current turbo ( if it is a ko3s) as i have 100k on the clock so probably warrents it
