i just got my first car that my dad had for a couple years and its alittle beat up...one day he took it out to go to work and the gas gauge ,mph gauge , and the screen in the middle of the speedometer stop working.
we later found out that the guy taht we bought the car from put a giac chip in there that said "for off road use only" was welded into the computer!

so he searched the rest of the car and this one piece is cracked in 3 places and i have no idea what part it is ... can you guys help me?

 

LOL, the clusters are known to be faulty, the chip has NOTHING to do with that. The chip just add new fuel and timing maps to the engine resulting in much more power. Its a good thing, not bad. Getting the cluster fixed/changed will cost a pretty penny however.

As for that peice. Its just a part of the crank case ventalation. You can get a new one from the dealer or ecstuning.com
