Hey nasty, I believe that it was more like 1997, not 2000. Definitely by 1998. Talking about the A4.

{added}

The Electronic Pedal Control (EPC) was introduced in 1997 as a mid-year change. Not sure when ALL used the EPC system.

DBW, is throttle position being controlled by the computer (aka, bullsh!t) dbw, no computer involved...press the gas throttle opens, no lag for the computer to realize you are stepping on it....oh, and if boost ever goes past..20 psi, it closes the throttle to 3/4...drive by wire that is...

NDBW-nondrivebywire *thumbsup*

DBW-drivebywire *sh!tty*
