Hello,

I'm new to the site and new to a 2001 a4 1.8t. I was wondering if all k03 turbos are the same? I am looking at a turbo from a 2007 VW GTI to replace the blown one in my car. Will it work or not? Both are k03 turbos and I'm wondering if their interchangeable.

there is a k03 and ko3s (2001+), but they are similar and can be swapped, i think

 

The K03 off the transverse 1.8 can not be used on the A4 1.8t. Plus the fact that a 2007 GTI is a 2.0T FSI not a 1.8t, not sure how everyone missed that.
