Well I just finished hooking everything up except the EBC, I have it all hooked up just not wired. I don't know which wires to hook it to so I'm just going to have my mechanic do it. But I have to say huge performance difference. Even at only 7psi I can feel a huge difference. I cant wait to get the EBC cranked up, then I'll really be loving life.

 

if your feeling a HUGE difference, then your turbo must of been really worn, if not dying.

 

My mom took my car to work one day and told me it was way to slow, it doesnt get worse than that. But, yeah my old turbo was completely shot, the waste gate valve disk was gone. I was planning on selling my car and because I'm a lazy bastard it was like that for over a year. I changed my mind about selling it so now it feels like a whole new car. Life is good!!

 

Swapping the k04 into the a4 1.8t I was told that there is a certain style you need to bolt up to the manifold correctly. Is this true at all? Or does anyone have a part number for the k04 to do the swap?

 

You need a K04-015. We have been testing the RPK04 line which is cheaper and works just as well as original Borg Warner units.
