Dont know if this belongs here:inform me if so. But has anyone ever use Octane Boost from your local krangen,autozone shop etc...??? Just want to try it out..if u have let me know ur input on it

 

There was an article about these things in one of the car mags and they dont really add more than a couple oct rating points and wont gain you anything. Not to mention to take advantage of octane, you need more psi and/or timing. But 2-3 points isnt enough to make the effort

I did Xylene(found at paint stores). Mixed aggressively. Felt a little gain(with no tune). But the smell of exhaust is intoxicating.

 

you will only see any gains with no tune is if your car is already pulling some timing, you will get that back
