Turbo for '98 A4 quattro 2.8?
I would very much like to turbocharge my '98 A4 quattro 2.8. Anyone know if and where I could possibly find one of these and what the price range would be?

if you had searched, you would know this topic has been covered thousands upon thousands of times, and you would know that its literaly cheaper and easier to sell your car and buy a 1.8t then it is to turbo a 2.8, there are no kits for this.

Yep, a guy wanted to turbo his 2.8 a6. Pretty sure he gave up on it and put in a 50 shot of nos. Ive given up on trying to make my 2.8 fast, just try to make it a better driving car. You would need to get a turbo, figure out where to mount it, figure out the plumbing, oil lines, intercooler, ect. and then the hard part, finding a way to remap the ecu. Your best bet is to get the PES superchargerkit, last time I looked the price had gone down to like 3200 or something. Thats 300hp and if you need more than that... GET A 1.8T!!!!!

There site still lists $5000. If it is really selling for $3200 and will give you ~225 or so to the wheels that will be heard to beat dollar for dollar.
As much as I am a fan of tools like the Cobb AccessPort and remapping the ecu, it's not the only way to skin the cat.

If it really is 3200 thats great. Not that it shouldn't have been 32-3500 from the beginning but its a great, cheap option for some power.
Still wish they would have used an mp90.
