Hi Guys,

Im a relatively new Audi owner, I only bought my first Audi about 4 months ago and dont know much about it. I bought a 2010 Audi A4, 2.0T Quattro, Premium (if any of that matters).

Anyways, the turbo has been fluttering on decelleration. Im not losing any boost or power or anything it just makes a little metallic sound when venting, apparently the waste gate isnt staying closed completely. I guess my questions are: how dangerous is this, can it get stuck open and what would that lead to, to fix the problem do I have to replace the actuator, solenoid, or wastage itself, and if i have to replace the wastegate does that imply replacing the entire turbo?
