Hello,
I'm looking at buying an A4 quattro 1.8t with 134k this weekend but the turbo has a slight problem we believe.

When you hit it hard and the rpm gets upwards of 5k it dumps the boost and the car lags or something idk how to describe it its weird.

I'm kinda new to this all but I heard it could be a leak in the lines or the turbo could be bad.

The deal im getting on the car is MORE than worth replacing a few parts I was just wondering what the best course of action would be and if I would be spending time finding a leak or if I was gonna have to get a whole new turbo and taking a day to do that.
