Are there any good Audi shops/garages (not dealers) in the surrounding Philadelphia area that are good to do a clutch for a decent price? I'm home for break in a couple days, and I'll either do it myself or pay a repectable shop.

Ouch. Just so you know, the clutch replacement is about a 7-8 hour job. So expect to pay a nice chunk of change to get it changed.

Two good ones in Norristown. German Auto Specilaists on Ridge Pike and another one that dan used to use. It's posted here in the regional forum somewhere.

Well German Auto Specilaists quoted me $722 (just labor) for 8.5 hours of labor at $85/hour.

Anyone know of another shop?

Look up Woodlawn Foreign Car in Germantown section of Philly. They usually do all outside work for AWE. Good guys. Yeah, GAS are great, but expensive. There is another shop I forget the name of, foreign somethingorother, in Broomall that is reputable and pretty cheap.

Some of the Philadelphia auto repair shops are the best mechanics I've known..Checkout the list from the link. They have all the information you need to find a mechanic primarily at home or office.
