I just bought a 2003 A6 2.7T which now has 61,000 miles. Love the car. Went out thismorning and noticed awhining noise when at low rpm's, almost like a low pitched siren sound. When I turned the car off it gradually stopped after a few seconds after the engine turned off.Never had a car with turbo's, does this sound like a turbo problem? Air temp here this morning was high 30's, related? Thanks for any input.

 

Yes, does sound like a turbo problem. Try posting this in the A6 forum.. or even the A4 forum (don't spam) if you can't get help elsewhere.
