Well im also not a big fan of FWD, but I happen to own a 2000 Acura Integra Type R..... Its a cool little car and beeing seen in one is not as bad as you think.... It gets so much attention from people from different ages, not just kids..... What I hate is $40k to $80k car always want to race me... I dont get it, when I had my Mustang Cobra nobody really want some.....

 

if youre looking for something to work on...id say a corrado or like a 1991 quattro coupe....those would be sweet to have...especially if you get the quattro quick little cars

you know....i alwas have had a thing for pure amaerican muscle....i think its freaking sweet....but ever since the mid 80's..most (covering my a$$ by saying mosy) american ars and car makers have gone to hell...but a 71 chevelle would be nice to tool around in

Maybe it's largely a Vegas thing, but I can't tell you how many four lug "ITRs" I see driving around here.

Add to that the fact that there's a kid running around here with a real US-spec Type R who only drag races cars that he knows are slower than him, then brags incessantly about his "unbeaten" record. It's doubly bad as he also tells everyone that his car is bone stock when in fact it has the JDM ITR engine, dumped exhaust, headwork, and a piggyback. He refused to race my Lightning, then acted all big on one of our local forums talking about the "modded Lightning" that he smoked.

So add my subjective negative connotations of the Integra to the fact that I dislike pretty much all FWD cars anyway, and you have what is (in my mind) one of the worst cars you could possibly own. They are good little track cars, I even have a vid of an ITR keeping up with an FD around some Japanese race circuit, but I never see any one tracking them. I just see little ricer white kids acting like they're Mad Whack King Street Racer all the time. I know of probably 10 fake ITRs running around here, and of the three genuine ones we have in the scene, only one has ever seen circuit duty (he's a cool guy though, Tom - ITR#504).
