The rabbit won't make that noise but I've had the audi sound like that many times. Its actually not from the wastegate but from compressor surge, from either no bov/bpv (groupb rally cars) or from the bov/bpv spring being too stiff (my old case),

OMG that is an ungodly huge turbo. and yeah welcome backish, and what you cant drop in time to time just to post random crap, we have a thread for that now.
