A: Doubtful. There will be too much international attention paid to this: they will attempt diplomatic efforts first, through the UN. Failing that, the President would have a very hard sell in going after Iran, unless there is a VERY strong militarycomitment from other nations, so the US isn't running the show. It may all come to an armed conflict, but diplomacy, as well as any progress that is seen in Iraq, will determine what will happen in Iran, which will all take time.
