A: There are many different kinds of laptops. Entry level ones up to the high end ones. As far as I know, the best brands in the market for Windows based laptops are Sony, Toshiba, Dell. Basically it all comes down to what you need and plan to do. If you're only planning to do typical things such as typing, surfing the web, and such, I don't think you would need the top of the line one.
